Multiple skills are an added advantage.

Whatever you know now, learn to add to what you know and do, and improve on it.

Before, I thought that learning to do many things is a waste, and I should focus on one thing, but over time I’ve come to realize that getting multiple skills is an added advantage.

Now I can hit my chest and say I have a broadened knowledge and various skills that I monetize.

A job can fail you, your salary can be deducted at any given time regarding the fact that you work for an organization, and you have no choice but to get your earns meet. A skill can fetch you more.

What’s a skill?

It is the ability to do something well; expertise.

There are 3 types of skills:

➡️ Functional skill

➡️Self-management

➡️Special knowledge.

Functional skills are abilities or talents that are inherited at birth and developed through experience

Self-management is the behaviours you have developed in learning to cope with your environment and the people and conditions in it. For example: being energetic, determined, resourceful or dependable.

Special knowledge skills are those having to do with mastering a specific body of information related to a particular type of work, profession, occupation, educational, or leisure activity. Accounting, catering, or real-estate brokering would be examples of these.

📌It takes a combination of all these types of skills to get a job, keep a job, and succeed in a job.

We can’t all be experts at everything.

📌Give yourself credit for all the great things you are capable of doing!

My point is if you don’t have a skill find a skill, and gain mastery of that skill can bring you job offers, and other opportunities, and of course money will be part of it.

So you see, l encourage you to learn multiple skills, so you can get multiple opportunities, and not just be stuck at one, because what if that thing you are doing now wherever you are is not regarded as anything in other places, what will you do?

Have you thought about that? I’m sure you haven’t. So now you see my point and my reasons for telling you to learn multiple skills.

I am into network marketing, I gained mastery of the marketing skills involved for 4 years and I monetized that skill.

I am a blogger, as a few of you may know, it’s been 1yr 8months now and I’ve gained mastery of the skills involved in creating and building my blog and now monetizing.

I am also into affiliate marketing, started learning this skill for the past 8 months, and it has been blissful, the knowledge and values I’ve gotten as a result of learning the skills involved in this system, are mind-blowing. Though I had imposter syndrome, I’m glad I killed that syndrome and joined the moving train of wealth and substance. I wish I knew about it sooner and crushed my imposter syndrome but better late than never now I am super excited about the values and knowledge I’m gaining every day and the skills I’ve gained so far I’ve monetised them.
