Sometimes we do not know that we fight and put all our efforts into wrestling the wrong enemy, we try to win the battles but regardless of all the struggles, it turns out you are still in pain and wrecked.

Have you ever noticed that?

Well, I have and that because I wasn’t wrestling the right enemy, many at times we think that the enemy is a human being, because you felt the person did one thing or the other to hurt you, and frustrate your life.

But have you ever given it a thought whether or not there is a spirit behind this person acting in that manner?

Scripture says “Thou we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh.”

Do you know what that means?

Again scripture says; For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness in high places.

Now let me brief you according to my understanding of this scripture,

You don’t have to wrestle flesh and blood, we as human beings we have flesh and blood, so that means we should NOT wrestle each other,

but against principalities and powers, rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places.

Who is the ruler of darkness of this world, of course it’s Satan,

So now you know who your real enemy is, how do you fight him?

Anyway before I go further, remember this the people who hurt you and persecute you are tools in the hands of Satan, and the reason why he does this as a result of his fear towards you,

Why? Because you are a child of God, and whenever the real enemy tries to strike, my advice, first strike him down with the word of God, which is the sword of the spirit,

It is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.”
‭

Well, that said now you know who the real enemy is, I hope you focus your attention on wrestling the enemy (Satan) with the sword of the spirit, speak the word out to him and he will hear you.
